It is noteworthy here to emphasize that Hijama is a cure for every disease according to the statement of prophet Muhammed. Scholars explain that this does not mean that Hijama is a 100% cure for every disease. It could capped at 25% in the case of Multiple Sclerosis, 80% in the case of Hypertension, or 100% in the case of Post Herpetic Neuralgia. But there is, with certainty, a degree of healing for every disease.

Poison
Abdul Razzaq narrated that, “A Jewish woman brought to Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam a roasted sheep that she had poisoned, while he was in Khyber. Our beloved Prophet asked, ‘What is this, She said, a gift, being careful not to say that it was from the charity so that he would not eat it. Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam and Sahabah (his companions) ate from the sheep, then our beloved Prophet said, “Stop eating”. He said to the woman, ‘Did you poison this sheep?’ She said, “Who told you that”? He said, this bone,’ meaning the ewe’s leg that he had in his hand. She said, “Yes”. He said, ‘Why?’ She said, I thought that if you were a liar, the people would be relieved from you. However, if you were a true Prophet, it would not harm you.’ Prophet Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam then used Hijamah (cupping) thrice on the KAHIL (upper part of his back) and commanded that his Companions do the same. Yet, several of them died.”

“Use Hijamah on the Qamahduwah (above the nape cavity), for it cures seventy-two kinds of ailments”. (Narrated by Tabraani)
Effect of Hijama on Wudua and Fasting:
Hijama doesn’t void Wudua in the opinion of several scholars.
Regarding Fasting, scholars unanimously agree that Hijama does not void fasting. In the early days of Arabia, Hijama was performed using a tip-punctured animal horn. Suction was applied orally through the opening in the tip of the horn, which caused the blood to accidentally flow into the mouth of the therapist. This is why Hijama was the job of the slaves. It is believed that later on when fire was used to create suction, the ban on performing Hijama while fasting was lifted.
It was narrated by Ibn Abbas that he saw the prophet:
“ The prophet Muhammed (PBUH) did Cupping While he was fasting and in the status of Ihram”
